Remembering Rajiv ji..........

Rajiv Gandhi , the visionary of modern india , Crores of Indian  Youths , today should be thankful for his vision in ushering india to a computer and , Telecommunications revolution . He was the inspiring force for catapulating our Country to the status of  superpower in the software services .

I still remember the insuniations on his computerisation drive across the India. Many Political opponents and  opposition parties were making fun of what a TV kind of BOX can do for the welfare of the Indians ? But he went ahead with his plans towards the computerization of the India , Revamping  the education system towards studying the computer science as one of the subject in schools and higher education institutions.  I was one of first few batches of class 11 to study computer science as my subjects. Not to forget the cautionary advice from elders for choosing the computer science as the subject.

His idea towards reducing the communication gap by increasing the teledensity  allover India has benefitted many people in all walks of life , be it a father in the village communicating with child living in the city or abroad or the big business house communicating with its executives in the last mile village of our country , we have to acknowledge and be thankful for Rajiv ji's vision. Today we are enjoying the fruits of mass teledensity by the way of cheaper cost , efficient network all over india for variety of telcom services like internet , mobile telephony etc..

But looking back the last 20 years post his brutal assasination , he may have left us bodily , but his vision is still guiding the Indians to excel in the fields of Telcom, software services . After the agricultural sector , the software services sector has become one of the job opportunity  providing sector in our country. Software sector has been the sole source of income generation , increased lifestyle and provided more growth oppoturnities for many young people be it in India or anyother country in the world.

Lets all pray for his soul to rest in peace and guide us for ever !
